The process of producing our cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil begins with the harvesting of the pumpkins in the fall. Immediately afterwards, the seeds are mechanically separated from the pumpkin flesh and any remaining pulp is removed. The separated seeds are then thoroughly washed, cleaned and dried.
The dried pumpkin seeds are then placed in a hydraulic press, where the oil is extracted by a purely mechanical process at a low temperature. A final check in the laboratory confirms the quality and purity of our cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil.
