The production process for our organic virgin coconut oil begins with the harvesting of the coconuts. These are harvested from the palm trees using long sticks with a knife attached to the end. During this process, we attach great importance to an ethically sound supply chain that consistently avoids the use of monkeys to harvest coconuts. After the fibers have been removed, the coconuts are cracked to get to the valuable coconut meat. Removing the moisture by drying ensures a longer shelf life. The meat is then cleaned, chopped and broken to prepare it for oil extraction. In the expeller press, the coconut meat is mechanically pressed to extract the raw coconut oil. This oil is then subjected to a careful filtration process to remove all natural residues and obtain a high-purity end product that is very popular in the cosmetics and food industries.
In Germany, we carry out final laboratory tests on our organic virgin coconut oil to guarantee compliance with our high standards of quality and purity. The entire production process of this oil is based on compliance with environmental and social standards that ensure both the high quality of the end product and the protection of the ecosystem.
