Our Vaseline is made from petroleum-based hydrocarbons and processed through a careful high-pressure hydrogenation process. The end product is completely free of water, which eliminates the risk of microbiological growth. State-of-the-art processes enable the removal of any solvent residues and heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, nickel and molybdenum, resulting in a particularly high level of purity. Our Vaseline therefore not only meets all the requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation, but can also be used as an excipient in pharmaceuticals in accordance with the Pharmacopoeia Europaea (Ph. Eur.). A central aspect of production is the consistent avoidance of animal testing. Our two products, Vaseline white Ph. Eur. and Vaseline yellow Ph. Eur. differ only in their color.
