After harvesting in the fall, the pumpkin seeds are mechanically separated from the pulp, cleaned and laid out to dry. The dry seeds are then ground, with salt and water added to form a pumpkin seed mass.
To intensify the flavor, the mass is roasted and then fed into a hydraulic press to extract the oil. The resulting oil is particularly rich in flavor and is therefore very popular in the food sector.
