Organic safflower oil cold pressed

Gustav Heess

Our process for producing organic cold-pressed safflower oil starts with harvesting the seeds in late summer. By this time, the petals have already dried out and the seeds are firmly enclosed in the flower heads. The harvested seeds then undergo a careful cleaning process to remove any impurities. The cleaned seeds are then shelled, with the shells being collected as a by-product. The hulled seeds are then subjected to a purely mechanical cold pressing process, without the use of heat or chemical additives, which preserves the natural nutrients and authentic taste of the oil. In addition to the oil, this mechanical pressing process also produces the press cake as a further by-product.
