Organic peanut oil refined Ph. Eur.
Gustav Heess
The production process of our refined organic peanut oil begins in the fields, where peanut plants and their underground fruits are harvested by special machines. After harvesting, we let the peanuts dry for two to four weeks, which reduces their moisture content from 40 percent to around 5 to 7 percent, which contributes to their shelf life and prevents mold. The dried peanut kernels are then processed into flakes to increase the efficiency of oil pressing in the expeller press. The pressed crude oil is refined, filtered several times and undergoes rigorous laboratory testing to ensure a final product of the highest purity.
Our product follows European Pharmacopoeia standards, monitored by a precise testing schedule that ensures consistent quality. With a robust and diverse supply chain that relies on different seed sources and production sites, we guarantee a reliable supply despite possible weather extremes. Our refined organic peanut oil carries an organic seal, which proves that it is produced according to high organic standards. This certificate guarantees that our oil is produced sustainably and with respect for the environment, ensuring the quality and purity of the end product.
Peanut oil is known for its many uses, but due to the allergens contained in peanuts, it is not suitable for everyone. However, our refining process removes these allergens, which means that our refined peanut oil could also be suitable for allergy sufferers.
