The production process of pressed and refined borage oil with a GLA content of at least 20% begins with the raw borage oil, which is heated after a quality control. This is followed by a separation process in which lecithins and unwanted residues are removed. The crude oil then undergoes a gentle refining process before passing through a multiple filtering process in which natural residues are removed to achieve a particularly high degree of purity. The end product is refined borage oil with a GLA content of at least 20%, which is ideal for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries due to its high quality.
