The production of our roasted sesame oil begins in late summer with the harvest of the fully ripened sesame seeds, whose capsules have taken on a light brown color. Mechanical harvesting machines ensure an efficient harvesting process. After harvesting, the capsules are thoroughly cleaned, gently roasted and then processed purely mechanically in the expeller press. The resulting press cake is used as a by-product in the form of animal feed or fertilizer to ensure the sustainability of the entire production process. Natural suspended solids and particles are removed in a subsequent filtration process. Final laboratory analyses in our DIN ISO 17025-certified laboratory guarantee a particularly high level of quality and purity of the roasted sesame oil. The end product is valued for its intense flavor and aromatic properties and is used in various culinary applications.
